Purnululu (Bungle Bungle Range)
The 53 km Spring Creek Track winds over hills and through dozens of creek crossings to the striped sandstone domes of the Bungle Bungle Range, with walks into Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm. It is high-clearance 4WD only; single-axle off-road trailers are the limit and caravans stay at the turn-off.

Permits DBCA park entry (or a WA park pass) and Kurrajong or Walardi camping booked through Park Stay WA.
Before you go Check DBCA park alerts for the opening date before you go; the park opens in April or May, depending on track repairs, and closes in late November.
What the trip asks of your 4WD
In the order a fitter would raise them, each with the reason. Up to three parts that fit for each, the first already chosen; swap any of them, or mark one you don't need.
Build it for your 4WD
Your rego or your model, and every part below is one that fits it. Until then you see the gear that fits any 4WD; the parts made for one vehicle wait for yours.
1 · Suspension & GVM
The Spring Creek Track is corrugated, winding and hilly, and needs a high-clearance 4WD.
Build the suspension for your 4WDLift, load and the engineer's rules for your state, specced for the vehicle and what it carries.Build the suspension for your 4WD✓ In your 4WD's build · Change suspension2 · Storage & racks
There is no fuel or shop in the park, so carry supplies for the whole stay.
3 · Tow & rear bars
DBCA advises two spares, and a rear wheel carrier keeps the second one handy.
4 · Air intake
Around 50 creek crossings run deep after early-season rain.
5 · Lighting & 12V
A dual battery keeps the fridge cold at the unpowered park campgrounds.
Each of these is made for one vehicle, so the parts show once we know yours.
The trip asks for these; the rest of the rig is yours to choose. Build the whole rig for this trip.
