Our AI assistants

Our website chat and the tools our staff use behind the scenes are powered by an AI service, Claude, provided by Anthropic. What you type into the chat, and the customer records our staff look at with the assistant's help (such as an order, an enquiry, your vehicle or your workshop history), are sent to Anthropic so it can produce an answer. Anthropic processes this information overseas, including in the United States, under commercial terms that do not allow it to use your information to train its models. We do not send payment card details to the assistant. Chats with the website assistant are recorded and may be read by our team so that we can help you and improve our service.

How we use your visits to suggest parts

When you browse this website we record the pages you view, the vehicle you choose (its make and model, never its registration plate), the suspension packages you settle on in our builder, the product suggestions you see and click, and what you add to your cart. This is recorded against a random identifier kept in a cookie in your browser, which identifies the browser rather than you; if you are signed in to your account, it is linked to your account. We use these records to suggest parts that go with what you are looking at, and to understand how customers use our website. We do not record your IP address this way. The records are deleted after twelve months. You can remove the cookie at any time in your browser settings.
