Performance Expectations:

The VD-G380 Titan has a designed boost rating of 36psi, operating efficiently from 16-36psi, with 30psi typically available from 1550rpm when the tune and setup are complementary. The absolute maximum boost this turbocharger can be pushed to is 36psi up to 3400rpm, tapering to a maximum of 32psi at 4000rpm.

Accurate tuning is essential for reliability, efficiency, and performance. Standard performance for the VDJ70 series is approximately 380nm of wheel torque and 100-120kW of power. With the VD-G380 Titan combined with our custom remap, you can expect around 800-900nm of wheel torque and 190rwkw to 230rwkw.

Installations of GTurbo Intercooler Fan Kit or large intercooler, 3” exhaust, GTurbo Powerpipe (intake pipe), NPC1600Nm Clutch and upgraded injectors have yielded results as high as 290rwkw and torque over 1000nm at the wheels.

Peak figures are achieved using a turbo-back exhaust system. Retaining the factory DPF will slightly reduce output. The VD-G380 Titan is compatible with both DPF and non-DPF configurations. Proper ECU tuning is essential for reliability and performance.

Supporting Modifications:

Common supporting modifications include a GTurbo Intercooler Fan kit or PDI Front mount intercooler, turbo-back 3” exhaust upgrade, upgraded airbox and induction plumbing, replacement turbo intake pipe (GTurbo Power Pipe), NPC1600Nm Clutch and GTurbo high-flow injectors.
