A GVM upgrade is made to order and certified per vehicle rather than a kit off a shelf. Tough Dog publish no part numbers for one, because the springs, the shocks and the paperwork are specced by the engineer who signs the certificate. What you are buying here is that package: the components, the fitting and the certification, against your own 4WD.

About the price

The price shown is the kit: Tough Dog part TDGVM-104, federally approved under VTA-064302, certified to 3620kg. It does not include fitting, the engineer's inspection, or the wheel alignment afterwards, and it cannot - a GVM upgrade is certified against your own 4WD and the workshop prices that part on the vehicle. Send the rego through and we will put a real number on the whole job.

If the 4WD has never been registered the kit is approved federally and comes with its own compliance plate. If it is already on the road it needs a state engineer's inspection as well, which costs more.
