Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island)
A short vehicle ferry from Cleveland to Dunwich, then 32 km of Main Beach south to Jumpinpin and the shorter Flinders Beach run near Amity Point. Cyclone Alfred left erosion drop-offs in 2025, and there is no driving within two hours of high tide.

Permits 4WD vehicle access permit from Minjerribah Camping (Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation), carried as a printed copy; beach campsites and the vehicle ferry must be booked.
Before you go Check beach conditions with Minjerribah Camping before you go, and plan every beach run around the tides: there is no driving within two hours of high tide.
What the trip asks of your 4WD
In the order a fitter would raise them, each with the reason. Up to three parts that fit for each, the first already chosen; swap any of them, or mark one you don't need.
Build it for your 4WD
Your rego or your model, and every part below is one that fits it. Until then you see the gear that fits any 4WD; the parts made for one vehicle wait for yours.
1 · Recovery
Soft access tracks and erosion drop-offs along Main Beach catch vehicles on road pressures or out at the wrong tide.
2 · Storage & racks
Beach camping means carrying water, food and fishing gear well away from the island's shops.
3 · Lighting & 12V
A dual battery runs the fridge at the unpowered beach camps.
Each of these is made for one vehicle, so the parts show once we know yours.
The trip asks for these; the rest of the rig is yours to choose. Build the whole rig for this trip.
