Written at Legendex HQ in North Lakes and tested Australia‑wide, not just in the lab: in the heat and the sand, on long climbs and with a van on the back.
Custom tuned on our dyno
Not a file bought in and emailed. Your 4WD goes on our dyno, the map is written to the engine as it is on the day, and it is driven before it leaves.
Torque where you use it
Most of what you feel is low down, between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm, where a loaded 4WD tows, climbs and overtakes.
Measured, not claimed
We publish what our tuning gained on our own dyno, one vehicle at a time, before and after.
Upgrade as you go
Start with Stage 1 and add parts when you are ready: an intercooler for Stage 2, then injectors and a bigger turbo for Stage 3, and the tune is written to suit them.
Flexible tuning options
Stage 1, Stage 2 or a custom Stage 3, with multi‑mapping, gearbox tuning for automatics and an economy tune to choose from.

What you get
The tune, priced by stage.
A remap rewrites the tables your engine’s computer runs on: injection timing, fuel delivery, boost control and the torque limiters. More power and torque, so you are off the throttle sooner.
What it makes depends on what is fitted, the exhaust and the intercooler above all, on the engine’s condition and on your tyre size. For the best result, pair it with a Legendex exhaust.

Every Custom Dyno Tune is written in North Lakes by our own crew, on our own dyno. Our head technician is an experienced buggy and off‑road racing mechanic, and the crew around him wheel their own 4WDs.
The team is headed by Barney Lewis, the hands-on director behind Legendex.
