Brisbane’s Biggest Track Day Focused on 4WDs, Utes & Mental Health!

Author: Legendex

Save the date: Sunday, 12 October 2025. The engines will be roaring and the community will be rallying as Cruise for the Blues returns to Lakeside Park Raceway, Kurwongbah—bigger, dustier, and more meaningful than ever.

Hosted By the Wanderers, this massive one-day charity event is Brisbane’s biggest track day focused entirely on 4WDs and utes. Expect high-octane action, off-road challenges, and serious torque—all driven by a mission to raise awareness and funds for mental health support through Beyond Blue.

What to Expect: A Full-Throttle Day for a Good Cause

After raising over $6,000 in 2024, Cruise for the Blues is kicking things up a notch in 2025. The team behind the event is building a 4WD-focused format packed with family fun, off-road action, and opportunities to connect.

Here’s what’s in store:

  • Dirt Drags – Fast-paced head-to-head fun on a dusty straight.
  • Skid Pan Sessions – Slide, spin, and show your style.
  • Flex Ramp Challenges – Test your rig’s limits and flex.
  • Cruise Track Sessions – Lap the legendary Lakeside track in your build.
  • Massive Show & Shine – From rugged to refined, rigs of all styles welcome.
  • Pitstop Café  – Eat, relax, and refuel with your crew.
  • Mega Raffles & Giveaways – Win big while giving back.
  • Whether you're a seasoned off-roader or just love the community vibe, this event is open to all ages and all builds.

Whether you're a seasoned off-roader or just love the community vibe, this event is open to all ages and all builds.

“Dress It in Blue”: The Heart Behind the Horsepower

At its core, Cruise for the Blues is more than a track day. It’s a movement—a chance to shine a light on mental health and remind people they’re not alone.

“Growing up I lost too many of my friends to suicide,”  “Being able to do something like this is very important.” Jesse Hiddins shared at previous events.

That sentiment fuels the Wanderers' mission— not just through events like this, but in ongoing men’s circles held in Sandgate, creating safe spaces for conversation, support, and connection.

So whether you show up with a monster rig or just a blue shirt and an open heart, you’re helping turn horsepower into healing.
