DaintreeDaintree (Daintree Village to Wujal Wujal)
CREB Track
An old power-line access track of very steep clay climbs and river crossings from Daintree Village north to Wujal Wujal, starting with a Daintree River crossing that has a deep hole just off the correct line and a resident crocodile. Douglas Shire opens it only in the late dry season, and even light rain makes the clay slopes treacherous.

Before you go Check with Douglas Shire that the track is open before you go; the opening date moves with the wet season. Don't climb to the top of Roaring Meg Falls, a women's sacred site.
What the trip asks of your 4WD
In the order a fitter would raise them, each with the reason. Up to three parts that fit for each, the first already chosen; swap any of them, or mark one you don't need.
Build it for your 4WD
Your rego or your model, and every part below is one that fits it. Until then you see the gear that fits any 4WD; the parts made for one vehicle wait for yours.
1 · Recovery
Very steep clay climbs turn to grease after a shower, so bring a winch or a second vehicle.
2 · Suspension & GVM
Clearance and wheel travel help on the washed-out, rutted climbs.

The Daintree River crossing at the start is deep off the correct line and vehicles are often recovered from it, with the Bloomfield River still to come.
4 · Bull bars
A winch needs a strong, winch-rated bar to mount on.
Each of these is made for one vehicle, so the parts show once we know yours.
The trip asks for these; the rest of the rig is yours to choose. Build the whole rig for this trip.
