Your Perfect Escape in Kosciuszko National Park
Looking for a serene camping spot where you can watch wildlife and fish for trout along Snowy River? Look no further than the secluded Island Bend Campground at Kosciuszko National Park. We recently had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful camp ground and we already want to go back.
The campground offers an ideal base for adventure seekers with some of the best walks, biking, fishing and kayaking in the area. Whether you're a family or a solo traveler, we have plenty of space for you to pitch your tent or park your camper. Perisher Valley attractions, such as Mount Kosciuszko Summit walk and Guthega Power Station, are a short drive away from our campground, making it a convenient location to explore the nearby area.
After an exciting day, retreat to our campground and cool off in the river while grilling some fresh-caught fish for dinner. You'll have plenty of company, as local roos, red-necked wallabies and wombats are known to roam the area.
The amenities include a drop toilet, and the well-maintained grounds add the perfect touch to make your stay memorable. Book now for only $6 with additional park and fishing fees.
Getting there is easy. Follow Kosciuszko Road towards Perisher Valley, turn right into Guthega Road after 23km, and access our campground located 6km along Guthega Road. Escape to Island Bend Campground and create unforgettable memories amidst nature's beauty.
