Billy Goat Bluff Track
One of the steepest tracks in the High Country, climbing about 1,200 m in roughly 8 km from Kingwell Bridge on the Wonnangatta River to the Pinnacles fire lookout, over loose rock, rock steps and offset ruts on an exposed ridge. Guides rate it for modified 4WDs only, and it should be avoided when wet.

What the trip asks of your 4WD
In the order a fitter would raise them, each with the reason. Up to three parts that fit for each, the first already chosen; swap any of them, or mark one you don't need.
Build it for your 4WD
Your rego or your model, and every part below is one that fits it. Until then you see the gear that fits any 4WD; the parts made for one vehicle wait for yours.
1 · Suspension & GVM
Holes up to 70 cm deep and offset ruts need lift and long wheel travel to keep the tyres down.

On a 1,200 m climb a winch or a second vehicle is the way out if traction runs out.
3 · Rock sliders
Rock steps of around 40 cm and loose rock land vehicles on their sills and underbody.
4 · Bull bars
A winch needs a strong, winch-rated front bar to mount on.
Each of these is made for one vehicle, so the parts show once we know yours.
The trip asks for these; the rest of the rig is yours to choose. Build the whole rig for this trip.
